Posture vs a phone timer for desk breaks

By Ben Huss, who makes Posture · Checked 25 September 2026

A repeating 30-minute timer on your phone costs nothing and works anywhere. But it rings whether or not you've been sitting, doesn't know when you're on a call, and leaves you to decide what to do. Posture counts only your active computer time, waits for calls and presentations to end, and guides a 2–3 minute break with a 3D figure.
